Source: LaMelo 'hopeful' after 11-game absence

Ball will warm up prior to the game to determine if he's ready to play against the Pistons, the source said. He sprained the ankle for a second time on Nov. 16 after first injuring it during a preseason game Oct. 10. The initial injury caused him to miss more than a month of action, including the first 13 games of the regular season.
