Ham says the MRI results showed that James has a strained left adductor, and that "there wasn't anything torn." James limped off the court with 5 minutes, 41 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game was grabbing his groin area. He is officially listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings . James, 37, suffered a tear in his left groin during the 2018-19 season -- his first in L.A. -- that caused him to miss 17 straight games from late December to late January.
